The KH400 airbox fits in a big hole behind the engine, the swingarm has to come out to fit the main Body :shock:

The question is, why would you want to fit a 500 airbox? Are you fitting the larger 500 carbs?

The 500 one fits the hole, but you will have to let it rest there or maybe some cable ties would do the job. My S1A/500 has one, but it isn't bolted in.
If you are trying to connect it to an S series motor then you will have a problem with the rubber inlet hoses as they are different methods. The 500 has wider cylinder spacing on a three way split single hose and the S series has 3 individual little pipes to 3 holes on the airbox.

If you fit individual filters, use foam pods rather than the K&N type Thumbs Up
