Kent rally 2019

Thanks to Gina and co for a fantastic weekend. The new venue was spacious and plenty of room for the tents and old people carriers to park up. Food, including Breakfast was fantastic even though some doubters had started rumours to the contrary.
As always the weather was perfect even though we had to stop it the chippy for an extra 10 mins whilst the rain past over
Not sure as to why the attendance numbers were down compared to previous years, maybe just an age thing. As we get older other priorities take preferance.
I still had a great time and had my year BS with a lot of good friends.

SO THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THAT MADE IT TO THE SOUTHERN RALLY.

Well said Nigel. Was a fun weekend. Good to see so many good friends and a few from past. We'll done our two French visitors also. Mark from Guernsey with that super sounding loud h2b.

The traditional mid ride fag and piss stop, those trees were mere saplings the first year we came.. But we've watered them every year..

Unlucky for some? not likely.. It was well worth getting a little bit damp for these.. Mmmmmm.. lovely crisp batter beats even the Yorkshire half cooked slimy stuff..

Yes, a big thank you to Gina and friends for organizing yet another Southern rally, I know its a lot of work and your efforts and presence are appreciated and make it such an enjoyable event to be part of.
Somewhat quieter than previous years but the new venue is perfect and the quality of service shows so a great choice and one to be supported next year so put it in your diaries and make it happen.

Great to catch up with some of the regulars and put names,bikes and faces to some new ones.
